Queensland celebrated 150 years in 2009

In 2009, Queensland celebrated 150 years of independence from New South Wales.

This milestone provided a unique opportunity to celebrate Queensland people, places and stories throughout 2009.

The year long celebrations engaged Queenslanders from every corner of the State.

We celebrated Queensland film with the Q150 Film Festival

The Q150 Film Festival featured films made in Queensland or by Queenslanders and toured to 10 communities.

Based on the iconic Australian woolshed, the Q150 Shed delivered music, performing arts and storytelling across Queensland.
