10 December 2009 - Live from Proclamation Day

Proclamation Day lived up to everyone's expectations, and there were many activities to celebrate the occasion. Media partner Network Ten was there to catch all the action.

2 December 2009 – Amanda chats with the Governor of Queensland about the plans for Proclamation Day

Proclamation Day is a huge day of celebrations, but also a day when we remember our first Queensland Governor, Sir George Bowen’s arrival to Queensland. Amanda chats to Her Excellency Penelope Wensley AO, Governor of Queensland about what’s in store for 10 December 2009, Q150 Proclamation Day celebrations.

28 September 2009 - Powderfinger headlines Q150 Proclamation Day Concert

What a way to end a special year! Five home-grown Queensland bands will play at the Q150 Proclamation Day Concert on Thursday 10 December, including Brisbane's prodigal sons, Powderfinger. Custard will also reform just for the event.

Tickets go on sale from 9am Monday 12 October.

17-21 August 2009 – The Q150 Steam Train journeys out to the south west

The Q150 Steam Train makes its way to Toowoomba, Chinchilla, Roma, Charleville and Quilpie. Along the way Mark Suleau meets up with some colourful characters including a former sheep shearer, a wild fruit farmer, a working dog instructor, the Hotel Corones owner, and a gem diviner.
